    Welcome to Bigfoot Kennels and Training! Our facility opened our doors in July 2024. Our passion for animals shines through in every aspect of our operation, where we prioritize the well-being and happiness of each dog that comes through our doors.

    At Bigfoot Kennels and Training, we believe that every dog deserves individualized attention and care. To ensure this, we deliberately limit our capacity, allowing our dedicated team to focus on providing meaningful and personalized experiences for each furry guest. This approach enables us to develop strong bonds with the dogs in our care, understanding their unique personalities, needs, and preferences.

    Our state-of-the-art facility is designed with comfort and safety in mind, featuring spacious indoor and outdoor play areas, cozy sleeping quarters, and ample opportunities for exercise and socialization. Whether your dog is here for boarding, training, or both, you can rest assured they will receive the utmost attention and love from our team of experienced and compassionate staff.

    In addition to our personalized care, we offer a variety of training programs tailored to suit your dog’s specific needs, from basic obedience to advanced skills. Our trainers use a balanced training method to promote learning. We also encourage owner involvement, as we believe that training is a partnership between you and your dog.

    Boarding Information
    Boarding Rates:
    As of January 1, 2025 are rates are as follows:
    Monday-Thursday $25.00 a day
    Friday, Saturday and Sunday $30.00 a day
    All Holidays $30.00 a day
    prices are charged per pet per day.
    We do offer muli-dog family discounts and long term stay discounts.
    Muli-dog family discounts are as follows: 3 dogs or more first 2 dogs are charged are standard rates any additional dogs receive a discount of $5.00 per day.
    Long-term stays: Days 1-14 are charged at regular rate. Days 15 on will receive a $5.00 a day discount.
    Training Information
    Classes will be roughly one hour long. (1st class will last longer).  Classes will be held indoors at our facility. You are welcome to ask for extra time after class individually to help fine tune your training experience with us. Please keep in mind others may also need time.  
    Classes will be limited to 5 dogs per class. 
    All dogs must be up to date on vaccines. Please bring a copy with you on the 1st day of class. 
    If you have a medical condition that requires you to sit at times, please bring a chair with you. 
    We DO NOT allow aggressive dogs in a group setting. 
    Our trainer believes in balanced training methods; utilizing necessary training aids and will teaching you how to use them properly. 
    Training aids may be available for purchase. If none are available our trainer will provide additional information how & where to purchase. 
    Classes are $25 per class. Deposits will be $50. This $50 deposit is non-refundable and DOES go towards the class cost. 
    Deposits can be made by stopping by the kennels with Cash or Credit cards(5.00 fee will apply to all cc transactions), Venmo (Bigfoot Kennels) or Cashapp (Bigfoot Kennels)
    ALL DEPOSITS ARE DUE 2wks before class starts. Limited number of spots will be available.  
    Classes will be held for 5 sessions.
    Puppy class will be held for 6 sessions.
    The remaining will be due at the start of the 2nd week. 
    If for some reason you are unable to attend a class, please reach out and we will make arrangements for you to get a private lessons to catch you up.
    Keep in mind the importance of a class setting to socializing your pet. 
     
    Private lessons
    We will focus on your dogs individual needs and guide you in the correct ways to train your dog.
    Private lessons are $240.00 for 4 wks and can be scheduled at your convenience.
    We do require you work with your dog daily & send a short video to us to help guide with this training. 
     

    Puppy Class
    We will emphasize puppy socialization crate training, housebreaking and address any issues such as puppy biting or jumping. In addition, your puppy will learn how to properly interact with humans and other dogs. Our trainer has been breeding for over 20 years. It has extensive puppy knowledge. Shes a open book so feel free to ask away. 
    This class will be 6 weeks long, which will give you and your puppy. The opportunity to earn the AKC star puppy title. 
     
    BASIC MANNERS CLASS
    Skills you and your dog will learn in class. 
    By the end of class you and your dog, we’ll have learned enough to be able to test for the AKC virtual home manners title

    ADVANCED MANNERS CLASS 
    (your dog must have taken & completed our basic manners class to sign up for the advanced manners class)
    by the end of this class your dog will have learned enough to test for both the AKC CANINE GOOD CITIZEN (CGC) & the Novice AKC Trick dog test. Tests will be given on week 5.
    (YOUR DOG DOES NOT NEED TO BE AKC REGISTERED TO EARN THESE TITLES)
    fine tune everything that was learned in basic manners class.

    we will work with different distractons and help the dogs over come items that seem scarey to them.
